Attempted child kidnapping info needed

Wonderboom police appealed to the public on Thursday for help in tracing the origin of what could be hoax email and sms chain letters claiming a kidnapper is on the prowl in their area.

Police spokeswoman Wanda Olivier said the chain mail, which has been distributed as far afield as Rustenburg and Bloemfontein, claims a kidnapper is cruising the streets in a silver Toyota Corolla with tinted windows and he is targeting children.
